HOPE for Kids Afterschool Program

Children in Grades 2 through 6 meet Monday through Thursday to work with volunteer tutors for homework help, academic tutoring and computer enrichment. Staff work with parents and teachers to create an individualized learning plan for each child. This plan includes specific goals tailored to meet needs, building on strengths and working to overcome challenges. The goals in the after-school program can be academic, social or attitudinal. Academic progress is directed and monitored by the Masters-level certified teacher on the HOPE staff.
